Travel

Getting there, staying there

By air

Fly into Madrid-Barajas (MAD). Non-stop flights from the U.S. are offered by American Airlines, Delta, United, JetBlue, and Iberia.

By train

Avant trains run Madrid Atocha to Toledo in 33 minutes. Book about six weeks ahead; tickets usually cost about €13–€25 each way. 

There is an Enterprise rental car location right next to the train station and rideshare is readily available.

By car

MAD to Toledo is ~45 minutes by car. A rideshare or taxi typically runs about €100–€120 each way. Be sure to check that your hotel can accommodate parking.

To lodging

The old town is cobbled with very narrow streets. Cars can fit, but maneuvering is difficult so we do not recommend renting a car if you are staying inside the city.
